Art Reception October 6

Sauk Valley Community College will host an Artist Reception on Wednesday, October 6. The reception for artist Debbie Thompson will take place in the SVCC Art Gallery from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Artist Debbie Thompson’s gallery, Paintings and Constructions, will be featured in the gallery. Her work will be installed October 4 consisting of various works including her piece Basic Construction, a mixed media piece in a shadow box from 1986. The exhibit will close on December 3. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
